Progress as of 11-8-09

With this last stretch of dry weather the main boulevard now extends from the main entrance, past the Bingo Pavilion and Amphitheater, all the way down to the Bed and Breakfast. Most of the curbing is in and they are installing the sprinkler systems and landscaping. With this big project completed for the most part you can drive on paved roads around most of Phase 1.

Bluegrass Hollow RV Park has all of the pads poured. They are setting the hook up boxes and water spickets at each space. They have laid the roads on about 1/4 of the park and have brought in top soils for the grassy areas in between spaces.

Celebrity Station Amphitheatre is really starting to take shape and I can start to see the train station feel of the area. The room has been built on the left hand Restrooms/concession building and they are putting on the tar paper in preparation for roofing. The right hand restrooms/concessions have had the trusses placed and they will begin sheeting it tomorrow. The box office building has all of the walls built and I am sure we will see trusses on it in the next couple of days. In the amphitheater bowl there are 4 stair ways. Along each of them the pads for the lighting are now in place. The stage area has also had a large amount of work done on the foundation.

Possum Holler Bed & Breakfast looks AMAZING! The furniture is beautiful and it has a real cozy homey feel to it.The details are so impressive. Each of the rooms are unique but they have been very tastefully done and the overall flow is terrific. I can just picture myself staying at the upper rear guest suite (my personal favorite with its king size 4 poster bed and beautiful views of the wetlands) and cozying up with a good book in one of the over sized leather chairs.

The Bingo pavilion along with the 3 celebrity restaurants: Darryl Worley’s Worley Bird Saloon,John Anderson’s Cafeteria, and Lorrie Morgan’s Hot Chicken, are really coming along. The entire floor of the Charity Bingo area is carpeted and finish lighting is in on the right and center sections. The left section has the grid and most of the tiles in and they are working on installing the sprinklers, HVAC, lighting, security cameras,... They are working on installing the kitchen equiptment in each of the individual restaurants. Most of the back office area now has flooring and the ceiling grid is in all of these spaces. Most of the desks and cabinets have now been installed and we will see employees moving into these offices in the next couple of weeks.
